Avoid RedGuides.com for EverQuest at ALL COSTS!

 If you've seen my previous posts about the topic of games to avoid, you know that I don't post very often and when I do, it's pretty serious and I have all the receipts to back it up. To give some information into what some of these terms and things are, EverQuest is a MMO currently maintained by Darkpaw.  EverQuest is an older game and not many people still play and those who do, have to have many accounts (which is allowed) to "box" which means to use multiple applications to play different characters. Red Guides redistributes MacroQuest.  MacroQuest makes boxing a little easier with some of the plugins that comes with it which some have different levels of TOS violations for EverQuest.   The one plugin I can't live without is the one that renames the window title to show you what character it is that is logged in.  Having 6 windows running, you can't always remember which is which when holding ALT to select the window you're needing to heal.  There...

This, being an opener, I guess I should start with a little about me and how this topic title really should send chills down everyone's spine. WHO I AM & WHAT I STAND FOR ( AND WHY ☺ ) First, I'm a Cuban-American adult male with 4 kids over 18 years old, a wife of 23 years.  How I got there is an interesting story as well, the short version is simply I grew up in a small town on a large farm owned by my adopted father where I regularly attended the scouting program and Church.  I became an Eagle Scout and was tapped into the OA.  My adopted father and I didn't get along well, so when I graduated high school I 'fled' to the US Army. I spent about 6 years in the US Army and after becoming injured in combat and being rated "non-deployable" a MEB was inevitable and it did come to pass.  But in the Army, before 9-11, before the Afghanistan invasion, I met my wife who was also serving.   So when I left the Army, I had children.
